To obtain a Portuguese Golden Visa through investment funds, you must strictly meet the following key conditions:
No Real Estate Investment: Funds are not allowed to invest directly or indirectly in real estate. This means funds specifically for renovating, selling, or renting properties no longer qualify.
Minimum Investment Amount: You need to invest at least €500,000 in one or more qualifying funds.
Local Investment Ratio: At least 60% of the fund's capital must be invested in Portuguese companies.
Holding Period: The investment must be held throughout the validity of the Golden Visa and cannot be withdrawn early.
The fund's duration must be no less than 5 years.
The fund must be officially registered with the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM).
